Korean Reinsurance disclosed Friday that its second-quarter operating profit on a separate basis rose 33.5% from a year earlier to 181.47 billion won ($128 million).

Revenue for the same period grew 0.2% to 1.95 trillion won.

Net profit for the period came to 137.78 billion won, up 31.3%, according to preliminary figures.
