Suwon has launched a new service called "Suwon 360° Tour."
The immersive spatial information service lets users explore the interiors and surrounding areas of public facilities on smartphones and computers, as if visiting in person.
The city is rolling out the service starting with Namsuheon and Yeongheung Arboretum, focusing on public facility interiors and areas not covered by road-view features on private map platforms.
City staff handled the entire process — from planning and shooting 360-degree panoramas to editing personal information such as faces and license plates, coding the panoramas using AI, and linking the content to a lifestyle geographic information system — with no additional budget required.
The service is accessible across a range of devices, including mobile phones and tablets.
