Comedian Kang Yu-mi opened up about her past marriage on a recent television appearance.

Kang and fellow comedian Hong In-gyu appeared as guests on Thursday's episode of the MBC variety show "Save Me! Holmes."

Hong revealed that while he had managed to buy his own home, he had no personal space to call his own. Co-host Jang Dong-min expressed disappointment, saying, "Didn't I tell you that you needed your own space?"

Hong explained that he had assumed he could share a room with his eldest child, but added, "Now that they're in third grade at elementary school, I've been kicked out of the room."

Amid the conversation, Jang turned to Kang — who is divorced — and asked, "Do you remember what it was like back then, when you were married?" Kang replied candidly, "Me? It was short, but I remember."

When Jang asked whether her husband had his own space at the time, Kang said, "We each had our own. We slept in separate rooms even back then." She drew laughs by adding matter-of-factly, "One divorce is enough for me."

Kang married a non-celebrity man in 2019, but the marriage ended after three years.
