The Korean Sport & Olympic Committee held its 2026 Town Hall Meeting on Thursday at a conference room on the third floor of Seoul Olympic Parktel, bringing together executives and staff.
The event, held for the second consecutive year following last year's inaugural session, was organized to foster mutual trust and build a communication-centered organizational culture through open exchanges of opinion among staff. About 100 people attended, including President Yoo Seung-min and union chairman Ji Won-seok.
For staff unable to attend in person, the event was streamed live online, and an open chat room was set up to collect questions and comments in real time, drawing broader participation. Attendees shared candid views and built common ground, drawing on questions gathered in advance as well as those submitted on-site and through the chat room.
"It was a meaningful occasion for executives and staff to meet in person, share their thoughts and concerns up close, and come to understand and empathize with one another," Yoo said. "I hope this town hall meeting marks the start of a welcome change that opens the door to a better tomorrow for the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee."
