Super Junior member Choi Si-won has urged fans to exercise caution after discovering that messages he did not send were being repeatedly dispatched from his social media accounts. The incident has raised concerns about possible hacking or impersonation, and Choi said he is currently taking security measures.

Choi announced Wednesday through his social media that he had confirmed messages he did not send were being delivered to people through his WhatsApp, Threads and Instagram accounts.

"This is not a one-time occurrence — it has been happening repeatedly, and I am currently working on security measures," he said. "I do not know who is behind this or what their intentions are, but it appears some of the attempts are targeted rather than random."

Choi asked fans not to reply to any message sent under his name if it feels out of the ordinary, and urged them not to open any links included in such messages.
