KT Genie Music posted a second-quarter operating profit of 1.89 billion won ($1.34 million) on a consolidated basis, down 62.29 percent from a year earlier, the company disclosed Wednesday.

Revenue for the same period came in at 77.22 billion won, a preliminary figure reflecting a 5.1 percent increase year on year.

The company swung to a net loss of 465 million won for the quarter.
