Haksan Hanshin The H Elite Park, a residential complex in Haksan-dong, Buk-gu, Pohang, has launched full operations at Jongno M School, an education brand that has officially opened inside the complex.
The opening marks the start of education programs and academic support services for residents' children. Interest in the complex's education infrastructure has remained strong as the education-focused services promoted during the pre-sale period are now being applied to residents' daily lives.
Jongno M School offers benefit packages for residents' children. One child per household receives two years of free education programs, while families with two or three children receive a 50 percent discount for two years, easing the burden of private education costs.
Alongside the in-complex education infrastructure, a dedicated community space called Edu Club occupies the entire first basement floor. Edu Club comprises 10 spaces designed to support self-directed learning: a book club room, a shared residents' office, individual and group study rooms, open and private reading rooms, a multimedia center, an online learning room, and separate men's and women's reading rooms.
The surrounding area offers strong education and lifestyle amenities. Hangdo Elementary School and several of Pohang's major middle and high schools — including Pohang Middle School, Pohang High School, Pohang Girls' Middle School and Pohang Girls' High School — are located near the complex, which also has easy access to the existing downtown hagwon district.
Green spaces and walking paths have been developed near the complex through a private park creation project at Haksan Park. The complex also benefits from downtown lifestyle infrastructure including Lotte Department Store, major medical facilities and government offices, as well as convenient access to National Route 7, KTX Pohang Station and the Saemangeum-Pohang Expressway. Industrial development plans in the surrounding area, including construction of a data center, are also under way.
The complex was designed with a south-facing orientation and a four-bay layout to maximize natural light and ventilation, and features ample storage space and a home smart system.
"We have given concrete shape to the education environment for residents through the opening of Jongno M School and the creation of the Edu Club community," a complex official said. "We will continue to enhance residential convenience by connecting with the surrounding school district and natural environment."
Haksan Hanshin The H Elite Park consists of 1,455 units across 12 buildings ranging from four basement floors to 35 above-ground floors, with exclusive use areas of 75 to 114 square meters. Move-ins began in May and the complex is available for immediate occupancy.
