KG Chemical disclosed Wednesday that its second-quarter consolidated operating profit rose 15.28 percent year-on-year to 90.91 billion won ($64.2 million).

Revenue for the same period climbed 18.34 percent to 2.58 trillion won.

Net profit for the period came in at 135.01 billion won, a preliminary figure reflecting a 132.03 percent increase from a year earlier.
