Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Development Corp. (GH) announced Wednesday that it has selected five companies to participate in its 2026 GH Basecamp program.
GH Basecamp, launched in 2024, supports Pangyo-based companies seeking to expand overseas by providing access to foreign markets and investment opportunities.
Selected companies will receive support covering airfare, accommodation and transportation costs, along with a structured assistance program.
The five companies chosen this year are AI and deep tech firms: Aiol Korea, Mediage, iLive, Factagora and Swig.
GH made the final selections through a two-stage process — an initial document review followed by interviews — weighing each applicant's business competitiveness and overseas expansion potential.
The selected companies will first complete a roughly two-month domestic preparatory training program to build their capacity for overseas expansion. They will then travel to San Francisco in October to attend TechCrunch Disrupt 2026, a global startup event, where they will network with local investors and industry representatives and explore opportunities for investment and business partnerships.
GH President Kim Yong-jin said the corporation would "actively support companies in discovering new business opportunities on the ground and strengthening their global competitiveness."
