Hankook Tire & Technology said Tuesday its second-quarter consolidated operating profit rose 58.09 percent from a year earlier to 559.09 billion won ($395 million).

Revenue for the same period grew 5.83 percent to 5.68 trillion won.

Net profit for the period came to 317.25 billion won, a preliminary figure reflecting a 77.48 percent increase from a year earlier.
