Inclusive classroom apps 'Modoo's Korean' and 'Modoo's Music' on show

Apps offer 3 learning modes tailored to disability type, skill level

Mirae-N will showcase digital education services designed for special and inclusive education settings. The publisher plans to expand its digital education project in the special education sector through inclusive classroom apps that let students participate in lessons in ways suited to their disability type and learning level.

The educational publisher said Tuesday it will present special education digital services from its Mirae-N MTeacher platform at the 17th EduPlus Week Future Education Expo, running Wednesday through Friday at COEX in Seoul. More than 170 companies, institutions and organizations from 15 countries are expected to participate in this year's expo.

Mirae-N will exhibit at the Special Education Digital Education Association (SeeD) booth, where it will introduce "Modoo's Korean" and "Modoo's Music," both co-developed with SeeD. Teachers and education officials at the event will receive demonstrations of each service's key features and how they can be used in actual classroom settings.

"Modoo's Korean" and "Modoo's Music" are apps designed to let students with different disability types and learning levels participate in lessons in ways appropriate for each of them. The apps support three learning modes — free, guided and listening — and incorporate features such as photo capture, audio recording and augmented reality.

"We will continue to expand our teaching and learning content and digital services so that students can participate in class regardless of their individual characteristics or learning level, reflecting the voices of those in the education field," a Mirae-N official said.
