Damyang-gun is running a second round of its "Donate to Damyang, Enjoy a Cool Summer" campaign through Aug. 31, aiming to encourage tourists visiting the county during the summer holiday season to participate in the hometown love fund program.
The event follows the original campaign that launched July 24, linking travel to Damyang and spending at local businesses with hometown love fund donations to offer visitors added benefits.
Participation is straightforward: visit Damyang during the event period, dine or have a drink at one of the designated restaurants or cafes, donate at least 100,000 won ($71) to Damyang-gun through the hometown love fund, and submit a receipt via Naver Form.
The five designated establishments are Ssangyo Sutbul Galbi, Damyang Ae Kkot, Deogin-gwan, Bevier Damyang and Deulkkot Sup. The county plans to give the first 200 participants an additional 10,000-won Naver Pay voucher.
