Samsung C&T's construction division announced Tuesday the official launch of Everling, an AI-powered senior living solution.

The name combines "Ever," meaning "always," with "Linking," reflecting the platform's aim to connect seniors' daily lives with professional caregiving in a smart and warm way.

The solution has been tested at premium senior residential facilities and specialized care centers since May, and Samsung C&T has completed trademark registration and released a dedicated mobile application.

Everling is designed to help senior care facility operators focus not only on residents' physical care but also on emotional engagement — a concept the company calls "digital hospitality." The platform integrates fragmented health, lifestyle and operational data to build a comprehensive picture of each resident's condition and needs, while deploying AI-driven smart care systems to improve service quality, staff efficiency and operational productivity simultaneously.

To that end, Everling comprises three solutions: a Wellness Coach that monitors residents' physical condition and sleep patterns and provides mindfulness and cognitive-decline prevention coaching; Safe On, which detects abnormal signs such as reduced activity, falls and wandering around the clock; and Living Manager, which consolidates residents' health trends, safety alerts, complaints, meal plans and notices into a single operational dashboard.

Everling is currently providing service planning consultancy for the Uiwang Medical Residence, a project under development by Hamilri in Uiwang, Gyeonggi Province. The platform is also operating at premium senior residences and care-type retirement communities, including The Signum House Gangnam in Jagonk-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and Caring Stay Uijeongbu Arboretum in Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province.

Early operational results show the platform enables real-time monitoring of residents' health and abnormal signs at any hour, allowing staff to focus on those requiring priority care — improvements that have drawn positive evaluations for raising care quality and resident satisfaction.

"A new digital-based care model is essential to address the challenge of a super-aged society facing a shortage of caregiving personnel," said Cho Hye-jeong, Samsung C&T executive vice president and head of the DxP division. "Everling will expand its scope of application and deepen collaboration with specialized startups and companies to build a future-oriented senior care ecosystem."

Samsung C&T is pushing beyond its traditional construction business into platform ventures centered on the people who use its spaces. Following Homeniq, a home platform for apartment residents, and Bynd, a building platform for office users, the company is extending its soft-business footprint through Everling. It has also been partnering with lifestyle service companies through Homeniq to broaden the everyday conveniences available to residents.
