Dongguk University WISE Campus signed a memorandum of understanding with Gyeongju Information High School and Silla Industrial High School on Monday to support group registration for the Test of Proficiency in Korean, or TOPIK. The signing ceremony was held at the university's Centennial Memorial Hall.

Attendees included Lee Yu-gyeong, director of the International Affairs Office at Dongguk University WISE Campus; Bae Byeong-guk, head of the International Exchange Team; Jeon U-ho, director of the International Student Support Center; Lee Hyo-suk, principal of Gyeongju Information High School; and Han Bo-seung, principal of Silla Industrial High School.

Under the agreement, the three institutions will cooperate on group TOPIK registration, test administration, and candidate management and administrative support.

"This agreement goes beyond simply making it easier to register for the exam — it will serve as a channel to help foreign students settle in the region," Lee Yu-gyeong said. "By bringing high schools and universities together, we aim to build a virtuous cycle in education where foreign students can continue their studies and find employment locally."
