Ulju-gun in Ulsan will support local technology startups seeking to enter the Vietnam market by participating in the 2026 InnoEX Global Program Season 2, to be held in Ho Chi Minh City from Aug. 18 to 22.

Four companies will take part in the second edition: Evergreen Plus, which offers eco-friendly agricultural materials and pest-control solutions; Roxy Healthcare, a biotech healthcare and beauty device company based on micro-bioelectric current technology; EasyMining, which makes recycling process equipment for spent lithium-ion batteries; and Poseidon Battery, which produces eco-friendly fire-suppression agents that block thermal runaway propagation in battery fires.

During the event, the companies will operate a joint InnoEX pavilion to promote their products and technology, and take part in a phased global market-entry program that includes one-on-one export consultations with local buyers, local proof-of-concept testing, investment and business networking, MOU signings and contract facilitation.

Ulju-gun, working with Ulsan Technopark, will provide the four startups with incubation space, tailored technology development support, and assistance with market access and commercialization.

At the inaugural edition last year, five companies participated and generated 36 export consultation cases worth $23.58 million.

A Ulju-gun official said the program last year demonstrated the strong technological capabilities and global competitiveness of local companies. "This year as well, we will actively support participating companies so they can secure new growth opportunities and achieve tangible export results in Vietnam and other Southeast Asian markets," the official said.
