Duksan Hi-Metal said Thursday its second-quarter operating profit rose 290.6% from a year earlier to 10.08 billion won ($7.07 million), according to a regulatory filing.

Revenue for the same period climbed 58.1% to 90.75 billion won.

Net profit for the period came to 12.44 billion won, a preliminary figure representing a 960.4% increase year on year.
