Handsome reported second-quarter operating profit of 4.61 billion won ($3.21 million), a 525 percent increase from the same period a year earlier, the company disclosed Monday.

Revenue for the quarter rose 7.4 percent to 363.2 billion won.

Net profit for the period came to 3.3 billion won, up 34.7 percent, according to preliminary figures.
