Hyosung Heavy Industries said Friday its second-quarter consolidated operating profit rose 60.89 percent from a year earlier to 264.29 billion won ($183 million).

Revenue for the same period climbed 10.6 percent to 1.69 trillion won.

Net profit for the period came in at 171.74 billion won, up 96.61 percent, on a preliminary basis.
