HD Hyundai posted consolidated operating profit of 4.12 trillion won ($2.86 billion) in the second quarter, a 262.2 percent increase from the same period a year earlier, the company disclosed Friday.

Revenue for the same period rose 30.2 percent to 22.41 trillion won.

Net profit for the period came in at 3.17 trillion won, up 550.2 percent, according to preliminary figures.
