Hanon Systems disclosed Friday that its second-quarter consolidated operating profit rose 61.2 percent year-on-year to 103.68 billion won ($71.9 million).

Revenue for the same period grew 0.6 percent to 2.88 trillion won, according to preliminary figures.

Net profit for the period came to 86.05 billion won, swinging to a profit from a loss a year earlier.
