Poongsan Holdings disclosed Friday that its second-quarter consolidated operating profit rose 39.2 percent year-on-year to 41.33 billion won ($28.7 million).

Revenue for the same period climbed 32.3 percent to 162.81 billion won.

Net profit for the period came to 38.11 billion won, up 50.8 percent, according to preliminary figures.
