Posco Holdings said Thursday its second-quarter consolidated operating profit rose 34.9 percent from a year earlier to 820 billion won ($565 million).

Revenue for the same period grew 9.7 percent to 19.26 trillion won.

Net profit for the period came to 760 billion won, a preliminary figure representing an 808 percent increase year-on-year.
