Lotte Fine Chemical reported second-quarter operating profit of 61.9 billion won ($42.7 million), up 611.5 percent from a year earlier, according to a regulatory filing Thursday.

Revenue for the same period rose 38.1 percent to 586.3 billion won.

Net profit for the period came in at 94.2 billion won, a preliminary figure representing a 507.7 percent increase year-on-year.
