Gallery Joeun in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, is hosting "Here I am," a solo exhibition by Lee Jae-hyun, through Aug. 8. Lee has built a distinctive practice by exploring a range of media and formal languages, including architecture, sculpture and painting. His current work centers on painting, translating memory, emotion and everyday scenes into an original visual language.
The show is Lee's second solo exhibition at Gallery Joeun and will present more than 20 new paintings that render childhood memories and present-day moments discovered within familiar everyday scenes.
