Posco Steeleon disclosed Thursday that its second-quarter consolidated operating profit rose 74.5 percent year-on-year to 9.6 billion won ($6.55 million).

Revenue for the same period grew 5 percent to 298.2 billion won.

Net profit for the period came to 7 billion won, up 75 percent, according to preliminary figures.
