Nexen Tire reported second-quarter consolidated operating profit of 34.33 billion won ($23.4 million), down 19.46 percent from a year earlier, according to a regulatory filing Wednesday.

Revenue for the same period rose 10.77 percent to 891.29 billion won.

Net profit for the period came to 216 million won, a preliminary figure reflecting a 98.88 percent decline from a year earlier.
