HD Hyundai Heavy Industries disclosed Wednesday that its second-quarter consolidated operating profit rose 120.6 percent year-on-year to 1.04 trillion won ($709 million).

Revenue for the same period climbed 52.7 percent to 6.33 trillion won.

Net profit for the period came in at 822.1 billion won, up 289.8 percent, according to preliminary figures.
