SK Hynix disclosed Wednesday that its second-quarter consolidated operating profit reached 60.54 trillion won ($41.3 billion), a 557.2 percent increase from the same period a year earlier.

Revenue for the quarter rose 256.8 percent year-on-year to 79.32 trillion won.

Net profit for the period came to 93.92 trillion won, up 1,242.5 percent, according to preliminary figures.
