KB Financial Group disclosed Thursday that its second-quarter consolidated operating profit rose 27.17 percent year-on-year to 2.71 trillion won ($1.83 billion).

Revenue for the same period climbed 31.23 percent to 31.76 trillion won.

Net profit for the period came to 2.01 trillion won, up 15.05 percent, according to preliminary figures.
