The KLPGA said it will hold the KLPGA 2026 International Qualifying Tournament (IQT) at Phoenix Gold Golf Bangkok in Thailand from Aug. 11 to 14.
The IQT, which the KLPGA has held since 2015 as a stepping stone toward the global stage, has grown in scale each year and established itself as the premier entry point for overseas players.
Patcharajutha Kongkraphan, 34, of Thailand, secured a regular tour seed for this season by winning the KLPGA 2025 IQT last year. She has made a strong impression on the KLPGA Tour this year, recording three top-10 finishes.
Charawee Boonjan, 27, of Thailand, finished third at last year's IQT and retained her tour card by placing 15th in the regular tour seed rankings. She also stood out this year by becoming the first IQT alumna to win a KLPGA Tour event, claiming victory at the 14th E1 Charity Open.
The tournament is open to foreign nationals aged 18 or older who hold an overseas tour license or have professional tour experience in their home country within the past five years, as either professionals or amateurs.
The KLPGA will award the winner 30 million won ($20,200) and a tour card for the 2027 KLPGA regular season. Top finishers will also receive a range of benefits, including eligibility for regular tour and Dream Tour seed ranking events and additional tour cards.
Registration closes Aug. 7.
