The Seoul Housing & Communities Corporation has moved to strengthen practical cooperation with the Seoul Metropolitan Government to improve public trust in compensation administration.

SH announced Monday that it co-hosted the "2026 Seoul Metropolitan Government-SH Joint Compensation Practice Workshop" with the city's land management division on July 10.

The workshop brought together staff from SH's compensation department and related divisions — who handle compensation for public development projects — along with officials from the Seoul Metropolitan Government's land management division, to share pressing compensation issues and raise the standard of compensation services for the public.

Participants exchanged difficulties encountered in the field and practical know-how, and discussed ways to enhance expertise in compensation work based on relevant laws and on-site issues.

Expert lectures were also held to strengthen practical capabilities. Ko Yun-seok, head of the compensation planning division at the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH), delivered a lecture titled "Understanding Loss Compensation," focusing on compensation laws and real-world case studies. Participants later toured the Seoul Hall of Urbanism and Architecture.

Seoul and SH plan to continue creating practitioner-centered communication opportunities to reinforce their cooperative framework, with the aim of deepening expertise in compensation work and delivering compensation administration that citizens can trust.

"This joint workshop is a meaningful occasion for Seoul Metropolitan Government and SH practitioners to share compensation issues and strengthen practical cooperation," SH President Hwang Sang-ha said. "We will continue to build on the cooperative framework between the two organizations to enhance the expertise and credibility of compensation work and provide compensation services that citizens can rely on."

Meanwhile, SH held an "SH Future Vision Sharing Forum" at its main auditorium on July 2, sharing plans for key projects — including "The Dream House Plus," a Seoul youth residential policy, as well as "Baro Naejip" and a rental dormitory program — along with the corporation's medium- and long-term development direction.
