The Gangwon Regional Office of Public Procurement and Wonju city announced Friday they had held a tailored consulting program called "On-Site Public Procurement Guide" for local small and medium-sized enterprises looking to enter the public procurement market.
The program identifies companies seeking to enter the public procurement market and provides stage-by-stage consulting — covering everything from initial market entry to designation as venture firms, innovative product suppliers, multiple-award schedule (MAS) contractors, superior procurement goods providers and G-PASS companies.
During the sessions, procurement office officials served as consultants for three local companies, walking them through eligibility reviews for procurement registration, application procedures and required documentation. In addition, the consultants advised on registration procedures and strategies for MAS contracts, the Venture Nara platform and defense commercial goods listings.
Wonju city said it plans to continue offering similar consulting sessions in the second half of the year for small and medium-sized enterprises seeking to enter the public procurement market.
