Samsung Electronics' free ad-supported streaming service (FAST) Samsung TV Plus will begin offering musical content this month.

Samsung Electronics said Friday that STN (Samsung TV Network), a dedicated channel on Samsung TV Plus, will stream the original Korean production of the musical "Maybe Happy Ending" on Sunday at 7 p.m.

"Maybe Happy Ending" follows two outdated helper robots, Oliver and Claire, who meet at a robot-only apartment complex on the outskirts of Seoul and gradually learn the complexities of human love. The musical won six Tony Awards in 2025.

Samsung TV Plus subscribers can watch "Maybe Happy Ending" every Sunday at 7 p.m. through Aug. 16.

On Liberation Day, Aug. 15, the service will present "Yeong-ung," a large-scale musical depicting independence activist Ahn Jung-geun's assassination attempt in Harbin and his subsequent martyrdom. During the Chuseok holiday on Sept. 27, the platform will release "Crash Landing on You," the story of a South Korean chaebol heiress who crash-lands in North Korea after a paragliding accident and falls in love with a North Korean army officer.

Samsung Electronics said it conceived the musical service to broaden access to live performance and reduce the gap in experience caused by seat location or viewing environment.

The service features a multi-cam function that simultaneously provides four stage angles, letting viewers choose their preferred shot, along with Eclipsa Audio technology designed to deliver an immersive sound experience.

"Through Samsung TV Plus, we have brought the emotion of the theater into the living room and handed control of the viewing experience to the audience," said Lee Gwi-ho, executive vice president of Samsung Electronics' Visual Display Business. "We hope viewers look forward to the new viewing culture Samsung is creating."
