FG Korea, the operator of premium burger brand Five Guys, said Thursday it opened a new store in Daechi-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

The Five Guys Daechi store sits in a lifestyle commercial district dense with residential complexes and hagwon. FG Korea optimized the layout and convenience to reflect the character of the Daechi market. With hagwon, offices and residential areas all in the vicinity, the company expects a broad range of neighborhood customers.

Five Guys had earlier expanded into suburban retail by opening a store at the Shinsegae Simon Yeoju Premium Outlets. FG Korea said it plans to continue tailoring its store-opening strategy to the characteristics of each commercial district.
