An Hyeon-min of the KT Wiz launched his fifth home run of the season Thursday, but the record will not stand. A no-game was declared after a downpour halted the KT-Kiwoom Heroes contest for 106 minutes, erasing An's blast along with the rest of the game.

An had given KT a 3-0 lead with a two-run shot in the third inning of the 2026 Shinhan SOL KBO League regular-season home game at KT Wiz Park in Suwon, with KT already ahead 1-0 at the time.

It was his fifth home run of the season and his first since going deep against the SSG Landers on June 23, a stretch of 13 games. But before the bottom of the fourth inning could begin, with KT leading 3-0, a heavy downpour forced a suspension.

Play stopped at 7:45 p.m. As the rain eased, the umpiring crew announced that the field would be prepared and play would resume at 9:30 p.m., following a grounds-crew session around 8:30 p.m.

Rain returned while the grounds crew was still at work, and at 9:31 p.m. umpires officially declared a no-game. The game had already started 17 minutes late because of rain, and after a 106-minute wait in the middle, it never resumed.
