CJ OnStyle said Thursday that mobile app installs and overall usage have surged since it launched its summer Black Friday sale, dubbed "Come On Black Friday," on Friday.

According to the company's interim tally, mobile app installs from Friday through Tuesday jumped 124 percent compared with the same period a year earlier. Daily active users rose 46 percent, while new mobile buyers increased 30 percent.

CJ OnStyle added a mobile live performance by hip-hop duo Dynamic Duo to the event. The Friday show, streamed through the mobile app, drew 100,000 page views within five minutes of starting.

The sale sustained momentum with deals including discounts of up to 90 percent, time-limited offers and cashback promotions. Nordic diaper brand Libero sold more than 1,000 sets through a time deal, while the Samsung Electronics Galaxy S26 series generated 100 million won ($66,200) in sales.

A "50% cashback deal" targeting premium brands — including Roborock, Dragon Diffusion, Cuckoo and Dyson — sold out within seconds of launching.

"This Come On Black Friday event drove both app traffic and purchase conversion at the same time, as compelling content and price benefits reinforced each other," a CJ OnStyle official said.
