Police are investigating a man suspected of secretly filming a woman he was dating using AI-equipped glasses and distributing the footage online.

The Gangseo Police Station in Seoul said Wednesday it is investigating the man, identified only as A, on charges of covertly recording a woman during a date using AI glasses.

A is suspected of covering the glasses' recording indicator light while filming the woman, then posting the footage on social media.

Police said they are keeping open the possibility that sensitive parts of the woman's body were captured during the date, and plan to continue the investigation, including whether to apply sex crime charges.
