IronEV, the official Zeekr dealer in South Korea, has opened a temporary showroom in Daegu to expand its customer reach across the Yeongnam region. The move is aimed at meeting pre-order demand for the Zeekr 7X, an electric SUV and the brand's first model to launch in the domestic market.

IronEV announced Tuesday that it has opened the Zeekr Daegu temporary showroom to serve customers in Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province, where visitors can receive pre-order consultations.

The temporary showroom will operate for about three months ahead of the official Zeekr Daegu Space, which is scheduled to open in September. It was set up to give customers in the Daegu and North Gyeongsang area a chance to see the Zeekr 7X in person and take advantage of pre-order benefits.

Visitors can examine the exterior design, interior layout and key convenience features of the Zeekr 7X. One-on-one consultations with dedicated sales consultants are available to walk customers through trim-level differences and vehicle specifications, and pre-orders can be placed on site.

IronEV began building its Yeongnam sales network in June, when it opened the Zeekr Haeundae Center+ in Haeundae, Busan. The Daegu temporary showroom extends that footprint from Busan into the Daegu and North Gyeongsang market.

"Since the Haeundae showroom opened in June, we have had many customers visit from the Daegu and North Gyeongsang area," IronEV CEO Kim Min-gyu said. "We opened the Daegu temporary showroom so that more customers can experience the Zeekr 7X's innovative technology and product quality up close and enjoy pre-order benefits."

Kim added that IronEV would continue to put customers first, steadily expanding its showroom and service center network to deliver a more satisfying ownership experience.

IronEV is preparing to open the Zeekr Daegu Space and a Zeekr Haeundae service center in Busan in September. The company also plans to open Zeekr service centers in Daegu and Jeju before the end of the year, broadening its post-sale maintenance and service network.

The Zeekr 7X is a pure-electric five-seat SUV and the first vehicle Zeekr has introduced to the South Korean market. Pre-orders opened last month and surpassed 1,000 units within a month, securing strong early demand.

Pre-order interest has been concentrated in higher trim levels rather than the base model. According to industry data, the rear-wheel-drive Max trim, priced at 59.99 million won ($39,200), accounted for 59 percent of all reservations, while the all-wheel-drive Ultra trim at 69.99 million won made up 35 percent. The entry-level Pro trim at 52.99 million won accounted for just 6 percent. The figures suggest that most buyers prioritized battery capacity, driving range, performance and convenience features over a lower price point.
