Volvo Cars Korea has opened a new official certified pre-owned showroom targeting customers in the Daejeon, Sejong and Chungcheong region. The facility is integrated with an existing new-car showroom and service network, improving access for customers in central Korea.

The company announced Monday the opening of the Volvo Selekt Daejeon showroom.

The new showroom occupies the third floor of the Volvo Daejeon building in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon. It can display up to 11 certified pre-owned Volvo vehicles and is designed to offer new-car comparison consultations, vehicle inspections and service all under one roof.

The Volvo Selekt Daejeon showroom is the first official Volvo certified pre-owned outlet in the Daejeon, Sejong and Chungcheong area. Until now, customers in central Korea had to travel to Greater Seoul showrooms to view certified pre-owned vehicles in person.

Customer amenities include a parking lot accommodating up to 34 vehicles and a consultation lounge. The showroom is also equipped with both fast and slow chargers for electric vehicle owners.

In the certified pre-owned market, vehicle condition and after-sales warranty reliability are key factors in purchase decisions. Volvo Cars Korea plans to draw on its official service center inspection records and warranty programs to offer a consultation experience comparable to that of new-car buyers.

As part of an opening promotion, customers who visit the Volvo Selekt Daejeon showroom and complete a consultation through July 31 will receive a "Pick by Volvo" eco-friendly reusable tumbler. The gift is available while supplies last and may be replaced with an alternative product if stocks run out early.

"We are delighted to be able to introduce certified pre-owned vehicles that meet Volvo's rigorous quality standards directly to customers in the Daejeon, Sejong and Chungcheong region through the opening of the Volvo Selekt Daejeon showroom," said Lee Yun-mo, president of Volvo Cars Korea. "We will do our utmost to ensure that customers can experience the same level of premium service with certified pre-owned vehicles as they would when purchasing a new car."

The Volvo Selekt program selects and sells vehicles registered no more than six years ago or with fewer than 120,000 kilometers on the odometer that have passed a technical and quality inspection at an official service center. The inspection covers 180 items.

Buyers receive one year or 20,000 kilometers of complimentary warranty service. A 24-hour roadside assistance service is also included as standard for three years or 60,000 kilometers.

With the Daejeon opening, Volvo Cars Korea now operates eight Volvo Selekt showrooms nationwide, including locations in Gimpo, Suwon, Gwangju, Busan, Gangseo, Seongsu and Daegu.
