Samsung Electronics Service has claimed the top spot in the electronics after-sales service category of the National Customer Satisfaction Index for the third consecutive year.

The company said Sunday it has ranked No. 1 in the electronics after-sales category of the NCSI — administered by the Korea Productivity Center — every year since the category was introduced in 2024. This year's survey gave the company high marks across key evaluation criteria, including service satisfaction and customer expectations.

The recognition means Samsung Electronics Service has swept all major service quality evaluations this year. In February, it was named No. 1 in the service center category of the "Most Admired Companies in Korea" survey, and in June it received the grand prize in the home appliance after-sales category of the National Service Award. On Thursday, the Korea Service Quality Index ranked the company first in three after-sales categories: home appliances, mobile phones and computers.

Samsung Electronics Service has focused on strengthening the technical capabilities of its engineers, who it considers central to service quality. The company introduced an industry-first service skills competition in 1986 and has operated a "CS Master" program since 2019 to select employees who excel in customer service.

Its in-house engineer technical certification system has also earned government recognition: the Korea Human Resources Development Service certified it under the national corporate qualification accreditation program. Engineers who pass the assessment can be designated as Technical Masters — the highest technical rating — a distinction currently held by just 34 engineers, or 0.3 percent of the nationwide workforce.

The company has also introduced HASS (Home Appliance Smart Service), an AI-based diagnostic program that enables faster and more accurate assessment of home appliance conditions. It also continues to carry out social contribution activities, including free home appliance inspections for nonprofit welfare facilities.

"We are grateful to our customers for recognizing us as No. 1 in the electronics after-sales category of the National Customer Satisfaction Index," said Kim Young-ho, vice president and CEO of Samsung Electronics Service. "We will continue to innovate to deliver customer satisfaction."

Samsung Electronics Service said it plans to keep building differentiated service competitiveness through its technical education programs and certification system.
