IS Dongseo visited Gyeongsan City Hall on July 3 to donate 50 bags of rice (10 kilograms each) to support underprivileged residents in the area.
The rice came from floral rice wreaths — a traditional Korean congratulatory gift — sent to mark the opening of the model house for "Penta Hills W," a residential development planned for the Jungsan district of Gyeongsan. The model house is located in Manchon-dong, Suseong-gu, Daegu.
"We wanted to share the warm sentiments expressed by those who congratulated us on the model house opening with neighbors in need," CEO Bae Gi-moon said. "We will continue various forms of giving as we fulfill our corporate social responsibility and grow together with the local community."
Jeon Hyeon-ok, head of Gyeongsan City's welfare policy division, thanked IS Dongseo for "turning a gesture of celebration into an act of sharing for those in need," adding that the rice would be delivered to residents who need it most.
