Mapo-gu District Mayor Yoo Dong-gyun greeted attending families Friday morning at the "Moa Community Daycare Joint Family Sports Day," held at the general gymnasium on the third floor of the Mapo District Sports Center.
The event was organized jointly by five daycare centers affiliated with the Mapo Ecological Transition Eum Moa Community — Jungdong, Gipeun Saem Yeongje, Supbyeol, Dasom and Cabyschool Yerang.
The gathering was designed to support the healthy development of infants and toddlers, strengthen communication and exchange among the participating daycare centers, and deepen family bonds. About 500 people attended, including enrolled children and their parents.
Before the event began, Mayor Yoo greeted participating families and posed for photos with the children, congratulating them on the occasion.
"The most important thing is creating an environment where children can dream and run freely," he said. "I will do my utmost to ensure that children receive care and education in the best possible environment."
