Nongshim announced Friday that it signed an MOU with the Seoul Metropolitan Government's Women and Family Office to cooperate on a wedding venue rental program called "More Beautiful Wedding."

The "More Beautiful Wedding" program is a venue rental service operated by the Seoul Metropolitan Government. Nongshim said it became the first company in the food industry to partner with the city on the initiative, as part of its corporate slogan "Making Life Delicious."

Under the agreement, Nongshim will provide selected couples with financial support for studio photography, dress rental and makeup services — commonly bundled together in Korea — as well as wedding photography. The company also plans to offer gift sets composed of Nongshim products and set up photo booths at the events.

Nongshim plans to select beneficiaries through a story submission contest. Applications will be accepted for about a month starting July 6 on the Seoul Metropolitan Government's "More Beautiful Wedding" website.
