Broadcaster Park Seul-gi said her husband recently closed the ice cream shop he had been running.
Park appeared as a guest on KBS Cool FM's "Park Myung-soo's Radio Show," which aired Tuesday.
"My husband closed the ice cream shop not long ago," she said on the program. "At least we didn't end up in the red. A lot of money went to severance pay for employees who had worked at the shop for a long time."
Host Park Myung-soo sympathized, saying, "Running your own business isn't easy unless you can get a good premium when you hand it over. You did well."
Park Seul-gi agreed, adding, "At least we didn't go into the negative."
Park made her entertainment debut in 2004 after winning the grand prize on MBC's "Paldo Mochanggasuwang," a singing-impersonation competition, with her impression of singer Park Jeong-hyeon. She married a non-celebrity man one year her senior in 2016 and has one daughter.
