Singer Car the Garden has explained why he showed up wearing a shirt printed with actor Kang Han-na's face.

A press conference for season 2 of the reality dating show "Motaesorojiman Yeonaeneun Hago Sipeo" — a makeover romance reality series following people who have never dated — was held Tuesday at Hotel Naru Seoul MGallery in Mapo-gu, Seoul. Directors Kim No-eun and Won Seung-jae, along with cast members Seo In-guk, Kang Han-na, Lee Eun-ji and Car the Garden attended the event.

Car the Garden drew attention by arriving in a T-shirt bearing a printed photo of Kang Han-na's face. When asked why, he said, "There's a slightly weightier meaning behind it — it's because I respect Kang Han-na," drawing laughter from the crowd.

He went on to explain: "Especially while filming season 2, watching how the participants behaved, I found myself saying things I should not have. I could not even control myself, but Kang Han-na always kept her emotions in check. I truly admired that. I wore the T-shirt with her face on it to express my respect."

Kang Han-na explained why she returned for season 2. "Season 1 received a lot of love and was so much fun," she said. "It was also great watching people who had never been in a relationship experience love and grow. Once the show aired, I realized just how many people around me had never dated. With so many charming people out there, I thought it would be wonderful to come back and do it again."

Season 2 of "Motaesorojiman Yeonaeneun Hago Sipeo" — a makeover romance reality show following people with zero dating experience but sky-high expectations as they attempt their first relationships — premieres on Netflix on July 7.
