The Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association announced Tuesday the launch of its "2026 KLPGA Official Commemorative Medals."
The medals were produced as part of a business-promotion MOU signed in March between the KLPGA and Korea Minting and Security Printing Corp. (KOMSCO), headed by President Seong Chang-hun. The product line combines the KLPGA's intellectual property with KOMSCO's core currency manufacturing technology, and comes in two forms: a card-type version featuring the 18th-generation KLPGA promotional models and a silver medal representing the association.
The card-type commemorative medals follow a photo-card concept, with each of the 12 KLPGA promotional models depicted in an individual card image embedded with KOMSCO-certified gold or silver. The lineup offers 12 varieties each in gold and silver card formats. Both versions carry the official KLPGA logo and incorporate KOMSCO's latent-image technology, which displays different images depending on the viewing angle.
In addition to the card-type medals, a single commemorative silver medal is also available. Its front features the championship trophy from the KLPGA Championship, which marks its 48th anniversary this year, while the back bears the official KLPGA logo to reinforce the association's identity.
The official commemorative medals are available through the KLPGA's Naver Smart Store and KOMSCO's online shopping mall, and can also be purchased at the KLPGA official store in the gallery plaza at the 16th Lotte Open tournament venue.
