A performing arts group of people with developmental disabilities presents a performance. [Provided by Hwaseong City]

Hwaseong Special City has organized an education event aimed at expanding opportunities for people with disabilities to engage in arts and culture and fostering a culture of disability awareness throughout the community.

The city held the "2026 Social Disability Awareness Education Through Arts and Culture" session Sunday at the multipurpose hall of the Hwaseong Workers' General Welfare Center, targeting local residents and civil servants.

The program was designed around inclusive cultural activities as a bridge, helping participants recognize naturally that people with and without disabilities are equal members of society who can live together as they are.
