Yu Hae-ran claimed her first major title at the LPGA Tour's KPMG Women's PGA Championship, her fourth career victory overall.
Yu has also placed herself among the tour's elite across key statistical categories this season. She leads the field in greens in regulation at 79.88 percent, ranks first in driving and ball striking, and sits second in strokes gained: tee to green at +3.11, second in strokes gained: off the tee at +1.83, and third in strokes gained: approach at +1.45.
Her scoring average of 69.81 strokes ranks third, while she sits fourth in strokes gained: total at +1.90 and fourth in under-par rounds with 27. She has recorded 159 birdies, ninth on tour, and has shot in the 60s six times, ranking sixth in that category.
Yu used the TaylorMade Qi4D LS driver throughout the tournament. Its combination of distance and stable control supported her tee-shot performance on the long, demanding course setup.
Yu also plays the TaylorMade TP5 golf ball, which balances distance, spin, feel and control — particularly the precise spin and control needed in the short game. Her TP5 ball features the number "62" beneath the TaylorMade logo and a sun-shaped side stamp.
She also carries the R7 Quad mini driver in her bag. The club provides more reliable tee-shot control on tight fairways and gives her the option to attack greens directly from the fairway on par-5 holes.
