Gimpo-Sacheon route discounted up to 60%; one-way fares from 50,000 won through Jetsetter; SK Rent-a-Car partnership cuts insurance costs in half

Regional air carrier Sseomaeo is running a promotion offering airfare discounts of up to 60 percent and rental car insurance reductions of up to 50 percent.

The campaign targets domestic travelers planning summer trips to the South Gyeongsang coastal region, including Sacheon, Tongyeong, Geoje and Namhae. Select round-trip flights on the Gimpo-Sacheon route will be sold at up to 60 percent off through Webtour and Sunmin Tour until Aug. 31, while partner platform Jetsetter is offering one-way fares starting in the 50,000 won ($33) range. Sseomaeo tickets are also available on major online platforms including Naver, Gmarket and Auction.

The airline has also partnered with SK Rent-a-Car to offer discounted insurance. Travelers who book an SK Rent-a-Car vehicle alongside a Sseomaeo ticket can receive up to 50 percent off the rental insurance premium. A vehicle delivery service at Sacheon Airport lets passengers pick up their car directly on arrival, eliminating the need for additional transfers to reach South Coast destinations. The SK Rent-a-Car promotion will be available on the company's website from July 1.

The promotion combines fare discounts with airport-linked services to reduce overall travel costs for vacationers heading to the South Coast. Sseomaeo currently operates four round trips daily on the Gimpo-Sacheon route.

"Flying with Sseomaeo, you can reach Sacheon from Gimpo in one hour, and then get to nearby destinations such as Tongyeong, Namhae and Geoje within another hour," a company official said. "We hope travelers enjoy the beautiful South Coast with Sseomaeo this summer."
