Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, speaker of the Iranian parliament and Tehran's chief negotiator in talks with the United States, has traveled to Oman.

According to Ghalibaf's Telegram channel, he boarded a flight to Muscat on Monday afternoon (local time). Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi accompanied him on the trip.

During the visit, Ghalibaf is scheduled to meet with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and joint efforts to stabilize agreements on Iran's control and management of the Strait of Hormuz.
